Everyone is Welcome
We are open to absolutely everyone, and all are welcome to visit us.
With three vans out every morning and afternoon collecting and delivering items, our stock is constantly changing, so there’s always something new to discover.
Come and visit us in the warehouse where one of our lovely team will be happy to help.
You can also follow us on Facebook, where we upload new items every day. If you see something you like, simply give us a call and make your donation over the phone.
You’re welcome to take items away with you if they fit in your car, or we can arrange delivery for an additional suggested donation.

Delivery
Our three trusty Necessary Furniture vans are always on the move! Every weekday they’re out and about across the local area, collecting wonderful donations and delivering furniture to its new home.
Our delivery slots are:
Morning: 9.00am – 12.30pm
Afternoon: 1.00pm – 3.30pm
Deliveries are available Monday to Friday only.
As we’re constantly collecting and delivering across the local area, we don’t have set delivery days for particular locations. Instead, we’ll work with you to find a day that suits you best and fits in with our van routes for the week.
Seen something you love on our social media? Don’t worry—you don’t always have to visit us in person! Deliveries can be arranged either in our warehouse or over the phone with our friendly team.
From treasured antiques and quirky vintage finds to essential household items, we’ll do our very best to get your new purchase safely to its new home.
Delivery Charges
We do our very best to keep our suggested delivery donations as affordable as possible and are proud to remain one of the most reasonably priced furniture charities in the local area.
Our suggested delivery donations are:
Hersden & Sturry – £5
Canterbury, Herne Bay, Whitstable and surrounding areas (including Herne, Tankerton, Aylesham, Littlebourne and Wingham) – £20
Thanet (including Birchington, Westgate-on-Sea, Margate, Ramsgate, Broadstairs and Deal) – £25
Sittingbourne, Ashford, Folkestone and Dover – £30
Please Note
If your order exceeds £300, an additional delivery may be required.
This is unlikely to take place on the same day, but we’ll always work with you to prioritise which items you would like to receive first.
